Life is made simple with microwave. I make this in a jiffy when I head to work and a sure favorite among friends. Enjoy this recipe.
- 1 large potato -cut into fingers
- 1/4 cup frozen / cooked green peas
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- Few sprigs of freshly chopped coriander
- Salt to taste
In a microwave safe bowl, put the frozen green peas and add 1/4 cup water and microwave high for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set the peas aside.
Meanwhile peel and cut the potatoes into wedges / fingers. Combine all the ingredients in a microwave bowl and give it a good mix. Cook covered for 4-5 minutes. And then cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes or until the potatoes are crisp from out and soft inside.
